The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << فلما جآءها نودي أن بورك من في النار ومن حولها و سبحان الله رب العالمين >

And in it: [Surat al-Naml: 8].
The following is derived from this verse: First: the affirmation of the speech of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), based on His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8]. If someone were to say: "The verb here is passive, and the caller is not specified, so there is no evidence in it for the speech of Allah," what is the answer?
The student: ....
The Shaykh : First: ... And the second is also His saying in the context of the speech: [Surat al-Naml: 9].
And in it: evidence that the speech of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is with a voice, based on His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8]. A call cannot be made except with a voice. In it is a refutation of two groups whose views we passed by yesterday. Who are they? The Asha'irah and the Kalbiyyah, who say that the speech of Allah the Exalted is a meaning subsisting in Himself. This view is false in many ways.
And in it: evidence that it is necessary for the one who is frightened to be spoken to or have something done for him that reassures him, so that he may be at peace and be able to accept what is presented to him. For the frightened one does not accept what ... meaning that he is unable to accept it. This is taken from His saying, "others before him"? [Surat al-Naml: 8]. For attributing the blessing to those in the fire and those around it increases their peace without doubt. For this reason, the first thing Allah addressed him with in this verse was: [Surat al-Naml: 8].
And in it: evidence of the purification of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) from what is not befitting Him, based on His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8].
And in it: evidence of the universality of the lordship of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), based on His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8].
Is there another Lord with Him? If there were, He would not be the Lord of all the worlds. If there were another Lord with Him, Allah the Exalted would not be the Lord of all the worlds, but rather the Lord of some of the worlds. And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is the Lord of the worlds. And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) mentioned that it is impossible for there to be another god with Allah by reason, so He said: [Surat al-Anbiya: 22]. And they did not become corrupt, so this indicates the impossibility of gods. By the impossibility of their corruption, the impossibility of the multiplicity of gods is indicated.
And He the Exalted said: [Surat al-Mu'minun: 91]. And this is a matter that has not happened.
So the affirmation of the oneness of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in His lordship is known, even the polytheists in the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to acknowledge the oneness of lordship.
And in it: evidence of the praise of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) of Himself, and that this is part of His perfection. For He praised Himself by saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8]. He praised Himself by negation and affirmation. O son, the negation is "Subhan Allah" (Glory be to Allah), and the affirmation is "Lord of the worlds."
From this we know that the perfection of attributes is not completed except by these two things, which are negation and affirmation. For affirming perfections alone does not indicate the negation of defects, and negating defects alone does not indicate the affirmation of perfections. And by their combination, absolute perfection is achieved. For this reason, they said: It is necessary to have both purification (negation) and adornment (affirmation).
And in the verse: evidence that all creation are under the lordship of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and He disposes of them according to His lordship, based on His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 8]. For this reason, no one is able to oppose the ruling of lordship.

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَا آلِهَةٌ إِلَّا اللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَاAnd He the Exalted said:
Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him].
So the affirmation of the oneness of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in His lordship is known, even the polytheists in the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to acknowledge the oneness of lordship.
