Allah the Exalted said: << و أنجينا الذين ءامنوا وكانوا يتقون >

Allah the Exalted said: " [An-Naml 27:53] with Salih, and they were four thousand [Surat al-Naml: 53] shirk ". We saved, meaning: We protected; saving means protection.
We saved them from this destruction that Allah mentioned and the punishment [Surat al-Naml: 53].
And His saying: [Surat al-Naml: 53] The author’s statement: " with Salih " is questionable, for they believed in Allah so that it would include Salih and those with him, as Allah the Exalted said in Surat Hud: [Surat al-A'raf: 72].
... belief in Allah, rather we say: it is obligatory for Salih (peace and blessings be upon him) to believe in himself that he is a Messenger, and for this reason the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would believe and testify to himself regarding the message, saying in his prayer:Sunan an-Nasa'i 148Sahih (Darussalam) and he means himself.
And sometimes he would say, when the matter occurred in accordance with what he said:Sahih Muslim 27b.
So the important point is that the Messenger himself is obligated to testify to himself regarding the message, that he is the Messenger of Allah, and to believe in what was revealed to him, and likewise others are even more so.
And the author’s statement: that they were four thousand, but where is the register that counted them? There is no evidence for it.
And the general rule is that the believers were fewer than that in this case, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The important point is that estimating them as four thousand, or forty people, or four million, or fewer or more... this requires evidence.
And it is also from the superfluous knowledge that a person should not trouble himself with, because there is no benefit in it; what has benefit, Allah must relate it to us.
And similar to this research, for example: what was the color of the dog of the People of the Cave? And what was its name, and how big was it? There is no benefit in it. Where is the cave they were in? And in what place? All these are side issues.
Likewise, what occurs in the hadith in the Sunnah: a man said to the Prophet (may Allah pray upon him and grant him peace) — some of the commentators mean complete care: who said it? This is actually not necessary, even though we may benefit from the fact that if the attribute is a merit, then it is a merit for this man if it is known, but is this obligatory for the ruling or the indication? No. But it is from the superfluous knowledge, this is also like it: who were those with Salih? Four thousand or four million, it does not matter, the important thing is that everyone who was characterized by faith, then Allah the Exalted saved them from this general punishment.
[Surat al-Naml: 53] The author says: " they feared shirk " If he had said: they feared sins or they feared Allah, that would be more appropriate, because faith and piety mean faith and righteous deeds, because righteous deeds when mentioned alone are from piety, unlike when it is coupled with oppression and the like, so piety is for sins and nearness to obedience.
And We saved those who believed
وَأَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواAnd they used to fear
وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَWe saved them from this destruction that Allah mentioned and the punishment
And We saved those who believed
وَأَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواAnd His saying:
Those who believe.
الَّذِينَ آمَنُواSo We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنَّا... belief in Allah, rather we say: it is obligatory for Salih (peace and blessings be upon him) to believe in himself that he is a Messenger, and for this reason the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would believe and testify to himself regarding the message, saying in his prayer:
Ashhadu an la ilaha ill-Allah was ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh (I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is his slave and Messenger)
أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسولهAnd sometimes he would say, when the matter occurred in accordance with what he said:
It is narrated either on the authority of Abu Huraira or that of Abu Sa'id Khudri. The narrator A'mash has narrated this hadith with a little bit of doubt (about the name of the very first narrator who was in direct contact with the Holy Prophet. He was either Abu Huraira or Abu Sa'id Khudri. Both are equally reliable transmitters of the traditions). He (the narrator) said: During the time of Tabuk expedition, the (provisions) ran short and the men (of the army) suffered starvation; they said: Messenger of Allah, would you permit us to slay our camels? We would eat them and use their fat. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Do as you please. He (the narrator) said: Then 'Umar came there and said: Messenger of Allah, if you do that (if you give your consent and the men begin to slay their camels), the riding animals would become short. But (I would suggest you to) summon them along with the provisions left with them Then invoke Allah's blessings on them (different items of the provisions) It is hoped Allah shall bless them. The Messenger of Allah replied in the affirmative. (the narrator) said: He called for a leather mat to be used as a table cloth and spread it out. Then he called people along with the remaining portions of their provisions. He (the narrator) said: Someone was coming with handful of mote, another was coming with a handful of dates, still another was coming with a portion of bread, till small quantities of these things were collected on the table cloth. He (the narrator said): Then the messenger of Allah invoked blessing (on them) and said: Fill your utensils with these provisions. He (the narrator) said: They filled their vessel to the brim with them, and no one amongst the army (which comprised of 30,000 persons) was left even with a single empty vessel. He (the narrator) aid: They ate to their fill, and there was still a surplus. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) remarked: I bear testimony that there is no god but Allah and I am the messenger of Allah. The man who meets his Lord without harboring any doubt about these two (truths) would never be kept away from Paradise.
أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأني رسول اللهSo the important point is that the Messenger himself is obligated to testify to himself regarding the message, that he is the Messenger of Allah, and to believe in what was revealed to him, and likewise others are even more so.

رأيت النبي ومعه الرهط، والنبي ومعه الرجل والرجلان، والنبي وليس معه أحد، إذ رفع له سواد فظن أنها امته فقيل: هذا موسى؟ وقومه ...And it is also from the superfluous knowledge that a person should not trouble himself with, because there is no benefit in it; what has benefit, Allah must relate it to us.
