﴿ فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴾

Reading the statement of Imam al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) regarding what he transmitted: "

The reciter: He (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "In the chapter on taqwa, Allah the Exalted said:
O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله حق تقاته
[Ali 'Imran 3:102]
And Allah the Exalted said:
So fear Allah as much as you are able فاتقوا الله ما استطعتم
[At-Taghabun 64:16]
This verse clarifies the meaning intended in the first one. And He said:
O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. يا أيها الذين آمنوا اتقوا الله وقولوا قولا سديدا
[Al-Ahzab 33:70]
The verses regarding the command to have taqwa are numerous and well known. And He said:
And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out (3) And will provide for him from where he does not expect. ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا ويرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب
[At-Talaq 65:2-3]
And He said:
if you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your misdeeds and forgive you. And Allah is the possessor of great bounty. إن تتقوا الله يجعل لكم فرقانا ويكفر عنكم سيئاتكم ويغفر لكم والله ذو الفضل العظيم
[Al-Anfal 8:29]
The verses in this chapter are numerous and well known."
