The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: <<

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
(52) So those are their houses, desolate because of the wrong they had done. Indeed in that is a sign for people who know. (53) And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah.
[al-Naml:52 - 53].
In this is evidence that faith and righteousness are among the causes of salvation, because His saying:
And We saved those who believed
[al-Naml:53] is a ruling conditioned by a description. When a ruling is conditioned by a description, that indicates the causality of that description and its effect on the ruling. Thus, it contains evidence that faith and righteousness, which include righteous deeds, are among the causes of salvation.
The second benefit: the exhortation to faith and righteousness, because every rational person should secure the causes of salvation. Therefore, the news of their salvation serves as an exhortation to the cause by which they were saved.
The third benefit: the clarification of the justice of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), in that He destroyed those who deserved destruction and saved those who deserved salvation
And We saved those who believed and used to fear Allah.
[al-Naml:53].
The fourth benefit: that Salih and those with him were believers, characterized by this description of faith and righteousness, because they were the ones who were saved from this punishment.
