The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << نتلوا عليك من نبأ موسى وفرعون بالحق لقوم يؤمنون>

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
It also contains evidence that narratives are called recitation, as one says of a person's story that it was recited to them, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
We recite to you from the news نتلوا عليك من نبإ
[Al-Qasas 28:3]
.
Among the benefits is also the importance of the story of Musa and Pharaoh. For this reason, Allah the Exalted undertook to recite it to His Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) because of its importance, the clarity of its benefits, and their abundance. It is not that you have time to say: "Gather the story from all its aspects and derive the benefits contained in it." Yes, this is the method we followed with the students of the secondary institute. We taught in the secondary section of the institute, and the curriculum for them included Surat Ghafir. Surat Ghafir contains the story of Yusuf, and we asked them to derive the benefits from it. However, since the students were distracted, it was not like the present time; this was about twenty years ago. In any case, the story of Musa and Pharaoh is among the most important stories, and for this reason, Allah the Exalted repeats it in the Qur'an in different ways. Here He says:
We recite from the news of Musa نتلوا من نبأ موسى
.
It also contains evidence for the second benefit: that what Allah has informed us of is the truth. All that Allah has informed us of regarding these stories is the truth. We have previously stated that when "truth" is attributed to a report, it means veracity, and when it is attributed to a ruling, it means justice. Good.
As for the benefit, I do not know the number, so I will say: among its benefits.
Among the benefits is that these stories are a cause of faith.
Among its benefits is also that they increase faith. They are a cause for one who does not believe to believe, and for one who believes to increase in the steadfastness and quantity of his faith. What is the evidence that the disbeliever benefits from them? The saying of Allah the Exalted:
There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding لقد كان في قصصهم عبرة لأولي الألباب
[Yusuf 12:111]
Every person of intellect and reason must take a lesson and benefit. Yes, good.
