Follow our path اتبعوا سبيلنا
to the end. From these noble verses, we can derive the eagerness of the disbelievers to mislead the believers, as they said:
Follow our path اتَّبِعُوا سَبِيلَنَا
.
Among the benefits of the verse is that those misguided ones employ methods of false propaganda, such as their saying:
And let us carry your sins وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَايَاكُمْ
. This is from false propaganda.
Among the benefits of the verse is that these callers to misguidance are liars in what they undertook regarding carrying of sins, as He the Exalted said:
Indeed, they are liars إِنَّهُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
.
Among the benefits of the verse is that whoever disbelieves, what is less than disbelief becomes easy for him. If these people disbelieved, then lying became easy for them to say:
And let us carry your sins وَلْنَحْمِلْ خَطَايَاكُمْ
.
Among the benefits of the verse is caution against the call and propaganda of the people of misguidance: their call and their propaganda. By propaganda, I mean adorning what they called to and making it easy in the hearts of those called. It is obligatory upon us to be cautious of these people.
Among the benefits of the verse is also the establishment of His saying, the Exalted:
and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another وَلا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَى
[Al-An'am: 164], because of His saying:
But they will not carry anything of their sins وَمَا هُمْ بِحَامِلِينَ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ
[Al-'Ankabut 29:12]
