The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << . . . . . . . . . . . . . . >

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then He, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
You only worship, besides Allah, idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allah provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned."
[Al-'Ankabut: 17]. Among the benefits of this verse is that everything worshipped other than Allah is an idol that does not benefit and does not bring provision.
And among its benefits is that calling these idols "gods" is a lie, as He said:
And you fabricate a lie.
.
And among its benefits is that it is recommended for one who mentions a ruling to mention its operative cause, from His saying:
Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision
[Al-'Ankabut 29:17]
.
And among its benefits is that it is recommended to use the tangible as evidence for the rational. Where do you take this from, Muhammad Isma'il? ... Who knows how to use the tangible as evidence for the rational?
The student:
They do not possess for them any provision.
.

The Shaykh :
Indeed, those you worship besides Allah do not possess for you [the power of] provision
[Al-'Ankabut 29:17]
This is tangible evidence. The way of using the tangible as evidence for the rational is that the tangible is something no one denies, but the rational may not be visualized by a person, let him affirming it. So compelling a person to accept the rational based on the tangible is one of the methods of debate, argument, establishing proof, and compelling acceptance.
And among the benefits of the verse is that the One to whom one must turn is Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Where do you take this from, Hajjaj? Where is it taken from?
So seek from Allah provision
[Al-'Ankabut 29:17]
.
And among the benefits of the verse is that the cause of provision and the cause of the continuation of provision are mentioned in it, the cause of its existence and the cause of its remaining ... or we say:
worship Allah اعبدوا الله
This is the cause of provision.
And be grateful to Him وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ
This is the cause of its continuation.
And among the benefits of the verse is the obligation of thanking for the blessing, from His saying?
The student:
And be grateful to Him.
.

The Shaykh :
And be grateful to Him وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ
Okay, is the verb here transitive or intransitive? Say, Ya 'Isam!
And be grateful to Him وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ
Is the verb transitive or intransitive? Transitive? Here in the noble verse, in the verse here, is it intransitive or transitive?
The student: Transitive.

The Shaykh : Transitive? Where is the object?
The student: .....

The Shaykh : Okay, who knows the answer?
The student: Thank Allah ...

The Shaykh : Thank His blessing, being sincere to Him. This is according to the view that it is transitive. As for the view that it is intransitive, then
Thank.شكر
is intransitive, you say "I thanked" and transitive you say "I thanked Him," yes, and the object is the pronoun "him" and not the omitted one.
And among the benefits of the verse is the affirmation of the Resurrection. Where do we take this from, my brother?
The student:
To Him you will be returned.

The Shaykh :
To Him you will be returned.
And this will be on the Day of Resurrection, the affirmation of the Resurrection.
And among them is the affirmation of the reward for deeds. Where do we take this from, Ya 'Abd Allah? From His saying:
To Him you will be returned.
Because the benefit of this news that they will be resurrected and rewarded is not just a resurrection without reward, but there must be reward in it.
