Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And Abu Dawud said in his Sunan: Al-Hasan ibn Ali said: Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, and Abdullah ibn Yazid ibn Maqsam al-Thaqafi, from the people of Ta'if, informed us, and Sarah bint Maqsam told me that she heard Maymunah bint Kurdum say: I went out with my father during the Hajj of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard the people saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)"

The Shaykh : We have (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: The Messenger of Allah
The reader: Saying: The Messenger of Allah, it was dropped from alif

The Shaykh : But he brought The Messenger of Allah and an addition
The reader: Yes, indeed

The Shaykh : No, it appears that it does not have (peace and blessings be upon him), it appears it is The Messenger of Allah, just as he says: The Messenger of Allah, The Messenger of Allah, meaning this is this, yes, yes
The reader: "
They were saying: The Messenger of Allah, so I kept staring at him with my eyes until my father approached him, and he was on a she-camel with him, having a tassel like the tassel of the book. I heard the Bedouins and the people saying: Al-Tabtibiyyah, Al-Tabtibiyyah. So my father approached him and took hold of his foot. She said: So he acknowledged him and stood still, and listened to him. He said: O Messenger of Allah, I vowed that if a male child is born to me, I would slaughter at the head of Buwanah, in a pass of the incisors, a number of sheep. He said: I do not know except that she said: fifty. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Was there anything of these idols there?' He said: No. He said: 'Then fulfill what you vowed to Allah.' He said: So he gathered them and began to slaughter them, but a sheep escaped from him, so he pursued it while saying: O Allah, fulfill my vow. So he caught it and slaughtered it
"
.

The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar.
The reader: "He said: Abu Dawud said: Muhammad ibn Bashshar narrated to us, and Abu Bakr al-Hanafi narrated to us, and Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far narrated to us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from Maymunah bint Kurdum ibn Sufyan, from her father, similar to it, abbreviated, part of which he said:
Is there an idol in it?
"

The Shaykh : Do you have it abbreviated?
The reader: Abbreviated, part

The Shaykh : Or abbreviated
The reader: No, I have it abbreviated with fathah

The Shaykh : Abbreviated, part, yes
The reader: "He said:
Is there an idol in it, or a festival from the festivals of the pre-Islamic age of ignorance? She said: No. I said: My mother has a vow to walk, so should I fulfill it on her behalf?
And perhaps Ibn Bashshar said
Should I fulfill it on her behalf? He said: Yes.

And he said: Musaddad narrated to us, and al-Harith ibn Ubayd Abu Qudamah narrated to us, from Ubayd Allah al-Akhnas, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather
A woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, I vowed to strike the duff on your head. He said: Fulfill your vow. She said: I vowed to slaughter at such and such a place, a place where the people of the pre-Islamic age of ignorance used to slaughter. He said: For an idol? She said: No. He said: For an idol?
"
He said, in the first one she said: No, and in the second one he said

The Shaykh : She said
The reader: No,
He said: For an idol? She said: No. قال : لوثن قال : لا

The Shaykh : She said: No, she said: No, here, yes, she said: No
The reader: "
She replied: No. He said: Fulfil your vow.
Sunan Abi Dawud 3312Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani)
"

The Shaykh : Fulfill
The reader: Fulfill, fulfill with yaa

The Shaykh : With yaa, yes, this is the correct one, yes
The reader: "The direction of the indication is: that this one who vowed had vowed to slaughter livestock: either camels, or sheep, or it was two cases, at a place he named. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him:
God’s Messenger asked whether the place contained any idol worshipped in pre-Islamic times and was told that it did not. He asked whether any pre-Islamic festival was observed there and was told that no such thing was observed. He then said to the man, “Fulfil your vow, for a vow to do an act of disobedience to God هل كان بها وثن من أوثان الجاهلية يعبد قال لا قال فهل كان بها عيد من أعيادهم قال لا فقال أوف بنذرك ثم قال لا وفاء لنذر في معصية الله
Mishkat al-Masabih 3437
And this indicates that slaughtering at the place of their festival and the location of their idols is disobedience to Allah, from aspects
The first is: that his saying:
Fulfill your vow.
is a response to the description with a ruling using the letter fa, and that indicates that the description is the cause of the ruling; so the cause of the command to fulfill is the existence of the vow free from these two descriptions, so the two descriptions are preventers from fulfillment, and if it were not disobedience, fulfillment would have been permissible. The second... "

The Shaykh : And if it were not, and if it were not
The reader: "And if it were not disobedience, fulfillment would have been permissible"

The Shaykh : Yes
The reader: "The second is: that he followed that with his saying:
a vow to do an act of disobedience to Allah must not be fulfilled
Sunan Abi Dawud 3313Sahih (Al-Albani)
And if the case asked about were not included in this general wording, there would be no connection in the speech. And the vowed thing itself - even if it is not disobedience - but when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him about the two cases, he said to him:
Fulfill your vow.
meaning: where there is nothing that necessitates the prohibition of slaughtering there. So his answer (peace and blessings be upon him) contained a command to fulfill when free from this, and prohibited it when this is present. And the original fulfillment of a vow is known, so he clarified what has no fulfillment. And when the general wording comes for a cause, the cause must be included in it"
