The Shaykh : He said: “And we believe that they are slaves of Allah’s servants whom Allah the Exalted honored with the message”. Yes. We believe in this: that they are slaves of Allah’s servants, whom Allah honored with the message. There is no doubt that Allah bestowed upon them the message as the greatest favor, and that the message is among the greatest blessings; indeed, it is the greatest blessing after guidance to Islam. Therefore, we say: whoever inherits from the prophets in their knowledge, their calling to Allah, and the uprightness of his state, then Allah has honored him. Every matter in which Allah bestows knowledge upon you is an honor from Allah to you, because you have increased over the ignorant person; you have risen above him in rank. It is obligatory for the student of knowledge to feel that Allah the Exalted has honored him with what He bestowed upon him of the seeking of knowledge, just as He honored the messengers with the message.
Good. “Allah the Exalted honored them with the message and described them with servitude in their highest stations and in the context of praising them”.
Listen. “So He said of the first of them, Noah:[Al-Isra 17:3]”. So Allah described him with servitude in the station of praise. [Al-Isra 17:3].
“And He the Exalted said of the last of them, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):[Al-Furqan 25:1]”. So He described the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) with servitude in the highest stations, which is the station of the message.
“And He said of other messengers:[Sad 38:45]”. “Owners of hands” means strength in the religion of Allah. Good. [Sad 38:45] Ibrahim is the second among humans in virtue, and [Sad 38:45] these are also among the messengers, described with servitude.
“[Sad 38:17]” meaning: the one possessing strength. “”. “[Sad 38:30]. And He said of ‘Isa ibn Maryam: [Az-Zukhruf 43:59]”. Is it clear, everyone?
So servitude is a description of the messengers (peace and blessings be upon them), and it is among their virtues and excellences.
The lover says to his beloved:
“Do not call me except ‘O her slave,’ *** For it is the noblest of my names”.
We seek refuge in Allah. He says: If you wish to call me by the name most beloved to me and the noblest of my names, say “O slave of so-and-so,” because he loves her intensely, so his heart is devoted to her.
And the poet said:
“And what increased my honor and my madness *** And I nearly trod the Pleiades with my heels
My entry under your saying, "O My servants," *** and that You made Ahmad a prophet for me" .
Yes. Clarify the speech.
“And what increased my honor and my madness *** And I nearly trod the Pleiades with my heels - meaning with my feet -”. So am I above it or below it? Above it.
“My entry under Your saying ‘O My slaves’ *** And that You made Ahmad a prophet for me”.
Meaning “O My slaves,” slaves of the Shari'ah or slaves of the divine decree? The Shari'ah. Yes.
Good. “Allah the Exalted honored them with the message and described them with servitude in their highest stations and in the context of praising them”.
Listen. “So He said of the first of them, Noah:
O descendants of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah. Indeed, he was a grateful servant.
Indeed, he was a grateful servant.
And He the Exalted said of the last of them, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him):
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner -
And He said of other messengers:
And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision.
And remember Our servants, Abraham
Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision.
and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength
Indeed, he was one who often turned back in repentance
And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].
Jesus was not but a servant upon whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the Children of Israel.
So servitude is a description of the messengers (peace and blessings be upon them), and it is among their virtues and excellences.
