Are there any messengers from the jinn?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : Huh?

The questioner : The jinn.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : The jinn.

The Shaykh : The pockets?

The questioner : The jinn.

The Shaykh : The jinn.

The questioner : Are their messengers from the children of Adam, or do they have messengers from among their own kind?

The Shaykh : The correct view is that there is no messenger among the jinn, because Allah the Exalted says:
And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture
[Al-Hadid 57:26]
in their descendants في ذريتهما
and the jinn are not from the descendants of Noah, nor from the descendants of Ibrahim. Also, Allah the Exalted says:
And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities
[Yusuf 12:109]
.
The problem remains with the saying of Allah the Exalted:
O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?
[Al-An'am 6:130]
.
The scholars answered that by saying: His saying:
O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you
[Al-An'am 6:130]
the address is to the group as a whole, not to every individual.
Another answer is: that the intended meaning of the messengers is the warners, as Allah the Exalted said:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We directed to you a few of the jinn, listening to the Qur'an. And when they attended it, they said, "Listen quietly." And when it was concluded, they went back to their people as warners.
[Al-Ahqaf 46:29]
.
And this view is the truth: that there is no messenger from among the jinn, and they are not worthy of having a messenger from among them, and they are the descendants of Iblis. But among them are the righteous, and among them are those below that; among them are the Muslims and among them are the transgressors. And it is sufficient for them as a point of pride that they are from the descendants of the most wicked of creation, as we know in the sight of Allah Mighty and Majestic, and yet among them are the righteous and among them are the Muslims.
So shall we continue?
