The questioner : His second question asks: What is the meaning of the statement of Allah the Exalted:
Nay, We are able to put his fingers together in perfect order بلى قادرين على أن نسوي بنانه
?

The Shaykh : This verse was mentioned by Allah the Exalted in response to His statement:
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones? أَيَحْسَبُ الإِنسَانُ أَلَّنْ نَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
[Al-Qiyamah 75:3]
This is regarding the resurrection, for Allah the Exalted will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment. Thus, Allah the Exalted clarified that this assumption is false and that He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is able to create him in the most perfect form, such that He creates him complete, even to the extent that his fingers are perfectly formed and complete, with no deficiency. The *bunan* are the fingers, as it is said: “So-and-so is pointed to by the *bunan*,” meaning by the fingers. These fingers are the lowest part of the body’s limbs. If Allah the Exalted is able to perfect them, then what is above them is even more so.

The questioner : Yes.
