The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. He says:The questioner : We hear some of the worshippers saying that when the imam recites the verse
Is He not able to give life to the dead? أليس ذلك بقادر على أن يحي الموتى
, they say "Yes" and raise their voices somewhat. What is the ruling on that?

The Shaykh : Yes, the one who recites, the listener, and the one following should say "Yes" in response to the question when Allah the Exalted says:
Is He not able to give life to the dead? أليس ذلك بقادر على أن يحي الموتى
Is not Allah the most just of judges? أليس الله بأحكم الحاكمين
[At-Tin 95:8]
. They say "Yes" in response to this question:
Is not Allah the most just of judges? أليس الله بأحكم الحاكمين
[At-Tin 95:8]
? Yes, by Allah, He is the most wise of the wise, in wisdom and in judgment. However, the ma'mum should not raise his voice with this so as not to disturb the worshippers around him. Yes.
