The Shaykh : Then he said: “And from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
Whoever separates between a mother and her child, then Allah will separate between him and his beloved on the Day of Judgement. مَن فرَّق بين والدة وولدها فرق الله بينه وبين أحبته يوم القيامة
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1566Hasan (Darussalam)
Ahmad narrated it, and al-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim graded it as authentic, but there is a discussion regarding its chain of narration, and it has a corroborating narration”.
