What is the recommended dhikr to be recited at the time of sleep, and what is its benefit?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the dhikr that is recommended to be recited at the time of sleep, and what is its benefit?

The Shaykh : Among the dhikr recommended at the time of sleep is reciting the Verse of the Throne:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
and reciting
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, قل هو الله أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak قل أعوذ برب الفلق
[Al-Falaq 113:1]
and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, قل أعوذ برب الناس
[An-Nas 114:1]
and
In Your name, O Allah, I live and I die. O Allah, by You I lay down my side and by You I raise it. So if You take my soul, forgive it and have mercy on it, and if You send it back, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants.
and also: that one should glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Allah thirty-three times, and magnify Allah thirty-three times, or thirty-four times; I forgot. In any case, there are also well-known adhkar, and we advise the brother to refer to "Al-Kalim al-Tayyib" by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, and its verification by Shaykh Nasir al-Din al-Albani, as well as to "Kitab al-Adhkar" by al-Nawawi, and to "Al-Wabil al-Sayyib" by Ibn al-Qayyim. The books on this matter are well known, so let him refer to them. However, he should rely on what was written by trustworthy imams and trustworthy scholars, because many books of adhkar have circulated among people, and among these books that people circulate, some are lies fabricated against the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). One must be cautious of them. The important thing is that I advise this asking brother and others not to get involved in what has been written of adhkar, for things have been written in them that have no truth, rather things that are fabricated and falsely attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). And they should rely in this matter on what was written by scholars who are trustworthy in their knowledge and their religion. Yes.
