Is there not a refutation in the hadith for those who deny the use of new things, such as the microphone?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you. Is there not a refutation in this hadith for those who deny the use of microphones and modern means, such as cars and others? Because this ruling was not known to the people in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but when he saw that the need called for it, he ordered it to be engraved and adopted?

The Shaykh : I do not know what you think; do you agree with this?
The student: Far.

The Shaykh : By Allah, it is not clear, but in any case, this indicates the permissibility of adopting means, even if they did not exist in the time of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), as long as they are a means to a legitimate Shari'ah objective. Thus, means have the rulings of their objectives.
