Is the punishment of the disbelievers in their graves continuous until the Day of Resurrection?

The student: May Allah reward you. Is the punishment of the disbelievers, meaning when they die, continuous until the Day of Resurrection, or are they punished in this world on the Day of Resurrection?

But the punishment of the grave, as for the believer, it may cease; he is punished according to the measure of his sins, and then it ceases. And as for the disbeliever, the apparent view is that it continues. Yes.
