What is the ruling on some people who are Muslims, pray, and pay zakah, but when you remind them of the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, they say: Have you seen it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: Shaykh, may Allah reward you. I mean, the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Those who do not give zakah, and in the Hereafter they are disbelievers. الذين لا يؤتون الزكاة وهم بالآخرة هم كافرون
[Fussilat 41:7]
I mean, there are people who are Muslims, they pray and pay zakah, they are Muslims, but when you remind them, for example, of the punishment of the grave and the terrors of the Day of Resurrection, they say: Have you seen the punishment of the grave? Have you seen the conditions of the Day of Resurrection? Have you seen Paradise? What is the ruling on these people?

The Shaykh : If you say to them, "This is what Allah and His Messenger said," what do they say?
The student: I do not know...

The Shaykh : If they say, "We do not believe except in what we see," then these are disbelievers, even if they bow and prostrate night and day and give out all the money in their boxes as expenses, they are disbelievers, because they are denying the truth. This is disbelief by denial.
