The student: .. The story of 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) or his wife Fatimah with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted the reality .. he disliked .....

The Shaykh : He accepted the reality, which was their argument based on divine decree. In truth, the sleeping person is not to be blamed.
And it is He who takes your souls by night and knows what you have committed by day. Then He revives you therein هو الذي يتوفاكم بالليل ويعلم ما جرحتم بالنهار ثم يبعثكم فيه
[Al-An'am 6:60]
Who? Allah says: Our souls are in the hands of Allah; if He had willed for us to rise, we would have risen. This is the reality. As for the argumentation, for him to argue with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) using divine decree is something that should not be done. For this reason, you feel that he was not pleased; he was striking his thigh ..
but man has ever been, most of anything, [prone to] dispute. وكان الإنسان أكثر شيء جدلًا
[Al-Kahf 18:54]
And argumentation may be in the right and is accepted, even if there is argumentation, if it is in the right it is accepted.
