In this noble verse, there are the following benefits:
First: a warning to the polytheists of the punishment of Allah, and that if Allah wills something, nothing can prevent Him.
Among its benefits is the obligation to fear Allah the Exalted and to be mindful of His watchfulness, for if He, Glorified and Exalted is He, wills to punish the sinner, nothing will be hidden from Him.
Another benefit is that no one will take charge of these deniers or support them besides Allah, and at the head of these are the idols. The idols will not benefit them; rather, if they were rational, they would disavow them on the Day of Resurrection, and if they are not rational, they and they will be fuel for Hellfire, as He, Mighty and Majestic, said in Surat al-Anbiya:[Al-Anbya 21:98].
