And the statement of the mufassir (may Allah have mercy on him): " Allah, fleeing " is like an example, whereas the meaning is broader than what he said: that is, by fleeing from Allah, by hiding from Allah, by lying down to escape Allah, and the like. A person may be unable to catch another person if he flees from him and is swifter than him; he may be unable to catch him if he hides behind a wall, in a cave, in a tree, or the like; he may be unable to catch him if he lies down on the ground or the like. So, can this kind of being unable to catch, which occurs from one person to another, occur from a person to Allah? No, because Allah the Exalted is not hidden from anything on earth or in the heaven, and nothing is impossible for His power on earth or in the heaven. And this is like the warning for these people. " [Al-Baqarah 2:107] other than Him [Al-Baqarah 2:107] " This "ma" is a negator, and we do not say it is a "Hijazi" negator, because one of the conditions for its operation is that the noun be placed before the predicate, whereas here the predicate is placed before the noun. Therefore, it is a negator that does not operate, and [Al-Baqarah 2:107] the "min" in this phrase is an extra particle for emphasizing the negation. " [Al-Baqarah 2:107] repel His punishment from you "—there is no wali who takes charge of you and improves your guardianship, and no protector who repels [punishment] from you. So, there is no wali who takes charge of you other than Allah, and no protector who repels the punishment of Allah from you. Rather, you are in His grasp (Blessed and Exalted is He) wherever you are.
