Explanation of the author's statement: His saying, "The ninth: The glad tidings that the truth will not disappear entirely as it did in the past, but a group will remain upon it."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "The ninth: The glad tidings that the truth will not disappear by force as it did in the..."

The Shaykh : How? Will it not disappear?
The reader: By force.

The Shaykh : No. Entirely.
The reader: In my copy, it says by force.

The Shaykh : Correct it. It says it will not disappear entirely. In your copy... is it by force or entirely?
The student: Entirely.

The Shaykh : Entirely, yes.
The reader: "As it did in the past, but a group will remain upon it".

The Shaykh : I say this is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that it is
There will not cease to be found among my people those who uphold what God commands, not being injured by those who desert or oppose them till God's affair comes about and finds them in that condition.
Mishkat al-Masabih 30:296
unlike the previous nations, and this is from the wisdom of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). The previous scriptures were not protected from distortion, omission, and addition. Why? Because they were for a limited time, and after them would come from the Book of Allah what clarifies the truth. But the Qur'an was protected from that, or not? It was protected because no book came after it to clarify the truth for people, so it became protected from distortion
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian.
[Al-Hijr 15:9]
. If a book had come after it to clarify the reality, distortion might have occurred in it. As for the previous scriptures, a book came and clarified that there was distortion, omission, and addition in them. Did you understand? I think it is clear... clear. Likewise, this Ummah: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent to people in general. So it is not possible for the religion to disappear entirely, because if the religion disappeared entirely, he would not have been sent to people in general. And for this reason, it remained until the Hour stands
a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth
Mishkat al-Masabih 5406
. Yes.
The reader: "The tenth: The great sign is that despite their killing"

The Shaykh : Despite their small number.
The reader: Despite their small number.

The Shaykh : ... the lam in your copy or... .
The reader: The lam comes after it.

The Shaykh : After it.
The reader: After the lam.

The Shaykh : After the lam, yes.
The reader: "Despite their small number, those who abandon them or oppose them will not harm them. The eleventh...".

The Shaykh : Good, and what...? Because most people are against them. Most people are against them, and this is the truth, and yet they do not harm them. But do they suffer from it or not? They suffer, but suffering does not necessarily mean harm. Suffering does not necessarily mean harm. For example, if someone eats onion and enters the mosque, it offends the angels, but it does not harm them. And those who offend Allah and His Messenger, they cause offense to Allah and His Messenger, but that does not harm Allah. And likewise the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So these groups that remain, there is no doubt that they suffer from people's opposition to them, because they wish good for all people. But that does not harm them and does not diminish the truth that is with them. I mean, their truth cannot disappear; it remains and is established... against falsehood, and they are not harmed.
The student: Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes.
Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter
[Al-Ahzab 33:57]
And it was said in the authentic Qudsi Hadith:
The son of Adam displeases Me by abusing Dahr (time)
Sahih Muslim 2246b
Yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes. The exception here is disconnected. The exception here is disconnected, meaning it does not harm you in any way. And in reality, the offense contains harm, but it is not real harm. The person who is offended does not have anything... there is no doubt. So this is a type of harm if we say the exception is connected, otherwise it is disconnected.
The reader: "The eleventh: That this condition will last until the Hour".

The Shaykh : What is the condition?
The student:
and a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth
Sunan Abi Dawud 4252Sahih (Al-Albani)
.

The Shaykh :
they will not be harmed by anyone who will not help them or who will oppose them
Sahih al-Bukhari 3641
Yes.
The reader: "The twelfth".

The Shaykh : It was mentioned to us during the explanation that there is a problem with his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The Hour will not be established except upon the worst of creation
. And we answered that, and we answered that with two answers:
The student: The first answer: That these... until none remain on earth... Allah, Allah, and the Hour will stand over them.

The Shaykh : I mean... but here it says:
Until the Hour.
Manifest until the Hour.
. We answered with two answers, my brothers... .
The student: Near the Hour.

The Shaykh : Near the Hour. But since this nearness is very close to the Hour, it is true to say it is until the Hour. Good, this is one aspect. Second answer?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Huh?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : It is not the major one, but the minor one, meaning their death. I mean, they will remain victorious until their death. But the first aspect is more established and clearer because it indicates that these people will remain until near the Hour, the nearness of it. Yes.
The student: ... this was not mentioned in the hadith. Why do we make it... .

The Shaykh : No, it was mentioned. It was mentioned. And even if it was not mentioned, no one... .
The student: ... until the Hour in the hadith?

The Shaykh : I mean, and there is another wording:
Until Allah makes.
.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : I mean, in the wording, yes. Until Allah makes... there is no problem.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : ... near the Hour. And for this reason, this aspect is closer to the truth than the second aspect.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : ... but this "until" at the Hour is close to the Hour. Yes.
The student: "The twelfth: ...".

The Shaykh : Is there a collection in your copy or not?
The student: There is not.

The Shaykh : There is not. What does it say?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : So there is not, there is not. There is not... the hadith.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Huh?
The student: Several narrations, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : My brothers, good, it is all one hadith.
The student: From the hadiths and verses.

The Shaykh : Let us see. But there is no discussion in our copy; it is not an issue. Yes.
