Please inform us, may Allah reward you, and may He accept your efforts in serving Islam and Muslims, and peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
A: And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, after that:
Based on what you have mentioned, it is permissible for you to shorten the prayer for the distance mentioned; because it is considered a distance for shortening. It has been established for us, after study, that the considered distance for shortening is approximately eighty kilometers or more.
We ask Allah to guide everyone, and peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
