Q: Is it better to perform the glorification, praise, and magnification after every obligatory prayer with the fingers of the right hand, or with both hands together?
A: It is better to do that with the right hand; because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to count them with the right hand, and because of the statement of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):Sahih al-Bukhari 168 And it is permissible to count them with all the fingers; because some hadiths indicate that from him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: .
And by this, the leniency in this matter is known, and that it is not befitting to be strict or to dispute over it.
