The Ruling on One Who Forgets the Talbiyah and the Condition

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: I forgot to say: "Labbaik 'Umrah, combining it with Hajj, unless I am prevented by a preventer," when I entered the state of ihram. What is the ruling? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer: The intention of ihram in the heart is sufficient, and he must complete the acts of Hajj. If he is afflicted with an illness or the like, he must complete them even if carried, or wait until the excuse is removed. However, if he said at the time of ihram: "If I am prevented by a preventer, my place of exiting ihram is where I am prevented," and then he is afflicted with an illness or prevented by something that hinders him from completing his Hajj, he may exit the state of ihram and is excused; for it is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Subay'ah bint al-Zubayr:
Enter Into the state of Ihram on condition that you would abandon it when Allah would detain you.حجي واشترطي: أن محلي حيث حبستني
Sahih Muslim 1207b
.
If he did not say that at the time of ihram, he must complete what he entered ihram for, whether 'Umrah or Hajj, except for the one who is prevented, whose rulings are known.
