Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "And the resurrection after death". Resurrection means bringing out, that is, bringing people out of their graves after their death. This is part of the belief of the people of the Sunnah and the community. We will stop here because there are five minutes left.
The resurrection after death is the bringing out of people from their graves alive. This is established by the Book, the Sunnah, and the consensus of the Muslims, indeed the consensus of the Jews and the Christians. Even the Jews and the Christians acknowledge that there is a day on which people will be resurrected and recompensed. In the Qur'an, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) says:[At-Taghabun 64:7] And He (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:15-16].
As for the Sunnah, mass-transmitted hadiths from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) are established regarding this. The Muslims have reached a definitive consensus that people will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection, will meet their Lord, and will be recompensed for their deeds.[Az-Zalzalah 99:7-8] [Al-Inshiqaq 84:6] So remember this meeting so that you work for it, fearing that you will stand before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) on the Day of Resurrection and have nothing of righteous deeds. [Al-Inshiqaq 84:6] Look at what you have done for the Day of Transition? And what have you done for the Day of Meeting? For most people today look at what they have done for this world, even though they do not know whether they will reach this world for which they worked or not. A person may plan a worldly deed to do tomorrow or the day after, but he does not reach tomorrow or the day after. But the certain thing is that most people are heedless of this. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Mu'minun 23:63] And regarding worldly deeds, He says: [Al-Mu'minun 23:63]. As for the deeds of the Hereafter, their hearts are in a deep state of heedlessness. But as for worldly deeds, He says: "And they have deeds other than that for which they are working." He said: "Look at the one who is working to indicate exclusivity; they are working for it." And He the Exalted said: [Qaf 50:22] meaning: on the Day of Resurrection. [Qaf 50:22] This resurrection is agreed upon by the heavenly religions, and every person who is religious in a religion, it is one of the six pillars of faith. It is part of the beliefs of the people of the Sunnah and the community, and no one who claims to belong to a religion ever denies it.
