Explanation of the author's statement: And of faith in the Last Day

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "Chapter: And of faith in the Last Day is the belief in everything that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about that will occur after death".
First: We discuss faith in the Last Day. What is its ruling? And what is its rank in the religion?
Its ruling: It is an obligatory duty (fard); it is obligatory for us to believe in the Last Day.
And Allah the Exalted often pairs the belief in Him with the belief in the Last Day, the belief in the Origin and the belief in the Return, because whoever does not believe in the Last Day cannot believe in Allah. How? Because the one who does not believe in the Last Day will not work, for he does not work except for what he hopes of reward in the Last Day, and what he fears of punishment and retribution. So if he does not believe, may Allah protect us, he becomes like those about whom Allah narrated:
And they say, "There is not but our worldly life; we die and live, and nothing destroys us except time."
[Al-Jathiyah 45:24]
.
Second: The Last Day. Why is it called the Last Day?
Because it is a day after which there is no day, so it is the final stage.
And the human being has five stages in this worldly life: the stage of non-existence, then the womb, then the worldly life, then the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection), then the Hereafter.
Non-existence is indicated by the statement of Allah the Exalted:
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?
[Al-Insan 76:1]
And you now, before you came into existence, were you? You were non-existent, then after existence you were given life.
Allah Blessed and Exalted said:
O People, if you should be in doubt about the Resurrection, then [consider that] indeed, We created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, and then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed - that We may show you. And We settle in the wombs whom We will for a specified term, then We bring you out
[Al-Hajj 22:5]
We bring you out, We implant in the wombs, this is the second abode or this second stage.
then We bring you out as a child
[Al-Hajj 22:5]
This is the third,
And among you is he who is taken in [early] death, and among you is he who is returned to the most decrepit [old] age
[Al-Hajj 22:5]
this is also after death, what is it? The fourth stage,
Then indeed, after that, you are going to die
. The fifth: The Last Day
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:16]
.
So it is called the Last Day because there is no day after it. When people are resurrected, they are created for eternal permanence; there is no death, no perishing, no illness, and nothing else. Good.
It says: "Faith in the Last Day includes the belief in everything that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about that will occur after death".
The time is up.
And that the angel of the left, who records the sins, does not write except after the angel of the right says to him, "Write."
And some of them said: Rather, it is an angel who is on his right when he prays, and he is not one of the two recording angels. And perhaps this is closer to the truth. For this reason, he said: "Indeed, there is an angel on his right," and he did not say "the angel." If the intended meaning was the well-known angel, he would have said "the angel."
Yes, yes, good, shall we read? Read.
The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said.

The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "And of faith in the Last Day is the belief in everything that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us about". It was previously mentioned that the "min" (of) in the author's statement—Ya Fahd—of faith in what?
The student: Explanatory.

The Shaykh : No.
The student: Of the branches of faith.

The Shaykh : No one speaks, yes, what is it?
The student: Partitive.

The Shaykh : Partitive, by Allah and His Books and His Messengers, or not? And His Angels. The Last Day is mentioned in this chapter, and the divine decree (qadar) is mentioned in a chapter that will come, if Allah wills.
