Explanation of the author's statement: "And the servants have the ability to perform their deeds, and they have will, and Allah is their Creator and the Creator of their ability and their will, as Allah the Exalted said"
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author said: "And the servants have the ability to perform their deeds, and they have will, and Allah is their Creator and the Creator of their will and their ability".
This also contains a refutation of the two groups.
"The servants have ability and will", contrary to the Jabriyyah.
"And Allah is their Creator and the Creator of their actions", contrary to the Qadariyyah.
So in the two sentences there is also a refutation of the Jabriyyah and the Qadariyyah. The Jahmiyyah are the Jabriyyah.
The servants have the ability to act and they have will, contrary to the Jabriyyah who say that the human being is not capable and is compelled.
"And Allah is their Creator and the Creator of their ability" this is a refutation of the Qadariyyah, the Qadariyyah who say: that Allah is not the Creator of the servant's ability nor his action.
Then the author cited as evidence the saying of Allah the Exalted:[At-Takwir 81:28-29].
So His saying:[At-Takwir 81:28] contains a refutation of the Jabriyyah.
[Al-Insan 76:30]: is a refutation of the Qadariyyah. Yes.
He said: "And most of the Qadariyyah, whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called the Magi of this Ummah, deny this level of divine decree".
Most of the Qadariyyah means the majority of them deny this level and say that the human being is independent in his action. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called them the Magi of this Ummah, yes, because the Magi say: that creation has two creators: a creator of light and a creator of darkness, so the creator of light is good, and the creator of darkness is evil, or they say: that evil was created by darkness, and good was created by light, so they make two creators for created things: darkness which creates evil, and light which creates good.
The Qadariyyah resemble these Magi in one aspect, because they say: that events are from two sources: events from humans, and they are the ones who created them and were independent in them, and events from creation, and Allah the Exalted created them. Yes.
The author said: "And a group of the people of affirmation exaggerate in it until they strip the servant of his ability and choice, and they exclude the actions of Allah and His rulings from their wisdom and benefits" Who are these? These are the Jabriyyah, and Allah knows best. Yes.

The reader: "And from the principles of the people of the Sunnah and the community is that religion and faith are speech and action".
The Shaykh : Chapter: And from the principles of the people of the Sunnah. Yes.
The reader: "Chapter: And from the principles of the people of the Sunnah and the community is that religion and faith are speech and action: speech of the heart and tongue, and action of the heart, tongue, and limbs, and that faith increases with obedience and decreases with disobedience. And with that, they do not declare the people of the Qiblah disbelievers on the basis of absolute sins and major sins as the Khawarij do, but the brotherhood of faith remains with sins, as He the Exalted said in the verse of retaliation:[Al-Baqarah 2:178] And He said: [Al-Hujurat 49:9], and He said: [Al-Hujurat 49:10].
And they do not strip the open sinner who is well-versed in Islam of Islam entirely, nor do they make him abide in the Fire eternally as the Mu'tazilah say".
The Shaykh : Yes.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon his family and all his Companions.
From the principles of the people of the Sunnah and the community is belief in divine decree in the manner that has preceded, in two levels, each level containing two things: the first level is knowledge and writing, and the second is: will and creation, so the people of the Sunnah and the community believe in divine decree in this manner, and they have evidence for it, so in the first level is the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Hajj 22:70].

(28) For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (29) And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.

فمن عفي له من أخيه شيء فاتباع بالمعروفAnd if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
