Reading from the poet's words: "Jahm ibn Safwan and his followers..." to his words: "...this is not reasonable for one with intellect"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "Jahm ibn Safwan and his followers..."

The Shaykh : Jahm is a substitute for the liar, the seducer, Jahm ibn Safwan.
The reader: Jahm ibn

The Shaykh : Jahm ibn Safwan
The reader: with a kasrah

The Shaykh : With a kasrah, yes, Jahm ibn Safwan
The reader: "Jahm ibn Safwan and his followers..."

The Shaykh : His followers with a kasrah
The reader: "Jahm ibn Safwan and his followers... denied the attributes of the Creator, the Judge
Nay, they negated from Him the highest heavens... and they emptied the Throne of the Most Merciful
And they denied the speech of the Lord, Mighty and Majestic... and they decreed for Him creation and novelty
They said, and our Lord has no hearing nor... sight nor face, so how could there be hands?
And likewise, our Lord has no power... nor will, nor mercy, nor compassion
Nay, and no attribute subsists in Him except... a bare essence without meanings
And His life is His self, and His speech... is other than Him, so marvel at this falsehood
And likewise they said that none of His creation... can be His intimate friend of the soul
And their intimate friend is one in need, and in... this description enters the worshipper of idols
So all are in need of Him for His essence... in the captivity of His grasp, humble and abased
And for this, Khalid al-Qasri sacrificed... on the day of the sacrificial offerings
When Abraham said, his intimate friend is... no, nor is it Moses, the one spoken to, who is near
May the sacrifice be thanked by every follower of the Sunnah... may Allah reward you, O brother of the sacrifice
And the servant, in their view, is not an actor... but his action is like the movement of the tremor
And the blowing of the wind or the movement of a sleeper... and the movement of trees for leaning
And Allah punishes him for what is not of... His actions, the burning of the scalding water now
But He punishes him for his actions... in which the Exalted is Allah, the Owner of favor
And injustice, in their view, is impossible for His essence... how can the One with authority be purified from it?
And that purification is praise, what... is this reasonable for one with intellect?"
