Review of the explanation of Ibn Malik's (may Allah have mercy on him) verse: "And make the neglected verb act upon the pronoun of what *** they contended over, and adhere to what they adhered to."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Ibn Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) says:
"And make the neglected verb act upon the pronoun of what *** they contended over, and adhere to what they adhered to"
We have also taken the example.
"So that they do well and your two sons do ill *** and your slave has rebelled and transgressed"
The first example applies to the school of whom?
The student: The Basrans.

The Shaykh : The Basrans. "They do well and your two sons do ill," because he made the first verb implied and deleted the pronoun from the second, so "your two sons" became the subject of the second verb. In "and your slave has rebelled and transgressed", the first verb acts, which is why the pronoun was deleted from it, and the second verb is neglected, which is why the pronoun was retained in it. He said: "and your slave has rebelled and transgressed"
