Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: I have a daughter, and her Hajj is an individual obligation, but she has difficulty breathing. Should I appoint a proxy for her to perform the stoning? Please advise us, may Allah reward you. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer: It is permissible for her to appoint a trustworthy person to stone the pillars on her behalf to avoid danger; based on the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) :
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Surat al-Taghabun: 16], and His saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Make things easy and do not make them difficult.يسروا ولا تعسروا
