Supplication during Tawaf

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: The questioner / Z. A. A. from Egypt asks: About the validity of supplicating during Hajj or 'Umrah in the tawaf with (Take us out of the darknesses into the light), and whether there are specific supplications for the tawaf and sa'y in Hajj, as in a book that pilgrims and those performing 'Umrah read, or is it better to supplicate with what has been transmitted and is authentic from verses and hadiths without restriction? Please give us a ruling, may you be rewarded, and may you be rewarded with good.

Answer: It is prescribed in supplication, dhikr, tawaf, and sa'y to use what Allah has made easy of the prescribed dhikr and good supplications that have no objection in them, and there is nothing limited in that, except that it is recommended to conclude each of the seven circuits of tawaf with the known supplication:
But among them is he who says, "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire."وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
[al-Baqarah:201], between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone; because that is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Likewise, it is prescribed to say takbir when touching the Black Stone and kissing it, and when pointing to it if touching it is not possible. And likewise, it is prescribed when touching the Yemeni Corner for the one performing tawaf to say: "In the name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
And it is prescribed on al-Safa and al-Marwah all the dhikr and supplications transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), with raising the hands, facing the Ka'bah, and reciting the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allahإِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ اللّهِ
[al-Baqarah:158], when beginning the sa'y, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, saying:
Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allahإِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ اللّهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:158]
"We begin with what Allah began with." And success is from Allah.
