Ruling on Supplication Aloud from a Book during Tawaf and Sa'y

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In tawaf and sa'y, some people take booklets and repeat them in a collective voice...?

Answer:
It is better for a person to supplicate to his Lord between himself and himself, not disturbing the people. Even if he has a book, he should read it between himself and himself, not disturbing those performing tawaf... If it is easy for him to read from his own memory, from a book, from something in his hand, or to recite what is easy from his memorization: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, that is better than disturbing the people. And it is sufficient: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illa Allah, Allahu Akbar, and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. If he repeats these in tawaf, that is a great good. Or he supplicates: O Allah, forgive me; O Allah, have mercy on me; O Allah, free me from the Fire; O Allah, forgive me and my parents; O Allah, support Your religion, Your Book, and Your believing servants. He supplicates without overexerting himself, and praise be to Allah. He has no need for the many supplications that they write and occupy the people with during tawaf. Whatever is easy is sufficient from the remembrance of Allah.
Q: Is this matter an innovation?
A: The matter is broad.
