Is it permissible for a man who teaches children the Qur'an, creed, and hadiths to take a monthly amount from each one?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : All right, our Shaykh, a man teaches children the Qur'an, creed, and hadiths and takes a monthly amount from each one; is that permissible or not?

The Shaykh : If he takes it as a wage, it is not permissible, because his teaching would not be for the sake of Allah. But if they offer it as a gift and he is not eager for it, then it is permissible.

The questioner : Our Shaykh, I mean, it is not permissible, so he should not make it a condition.

The Shaykh : I seek refuge in Allah!

The questioner: May Allah reward you with good, our Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And beware of that.

The questioner : Peace be upon you and Allah's mercy.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
The Shaykh : Give me some water.
