Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The authenticity of the hadith of Abu Burdah: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say at the end, when he wanted to rise from the gathering: Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdika...?

Answer:
The original of the hadith is established. The exegetes mentioned it in connection with His saying:
And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise.وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
[Surat al-Tur: 48]. It appears in Surat al-Tur.
The student: I have the chain of narration of the hadith with me.
The Shaykh: It does not contradict.
The student: Muhammad ibn Hatim al-Jurjurai and Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, the meaning being that 'Abdah ibn Sulayman informed them from al-Hajjaj ibn Dinar from Abu Hashim from Abu al-'Aliyah from Abu Burdah.
The Shaykh: Do you have a marginal note regarding Abu Hashim?
The student: It says, and Abu Hashim—this is in 'Awn al-Ma'bud—and Abu Hashim is al-Rumani, one of the narrators of the two Sahihs, with a b.
The Shaykh: Did he speak about al-Hajjaj ibn Dinar?
The student: Al-Hajjaj ibn Dinar is trustworthy, and more than one person deemed him reliable.
The Shaykh: Its chain is good, there is no harm.
