The reciter: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Ruh ibn Ubayd narrated to us, saying: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us. And Ibn Rafi' narrated to us, and the wording is his, saying: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, saying: Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, saying: Ibn Tawus informed me from his father that Abu al-Sahba' said to Ibn Abbas:
Do you know that three (divorces) were treated as one during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle (ﷺ), and that of Abu Bakr, and during three (years) of the caliphate of Umar (Allah be pleased with him)? Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) said: Yes. أتعلم أنما كانت الثلاث تجعل واحدة على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأبي بكر وثلاثا من إمارة عمر؟ فقال ابن عباس نعم
