The reciter: Ahmad ibn Janab al-Misysati narrated to us, Isa ibn Yunus narrated to us from Zakariya from Abu Ishaq, who said: .
The Shaykh : May Allah send prayers and peace upon him. There is no doubt that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most perfect of people in all aspects of perfection. He was the most noble of people, the most patient of people, the most intense in his love for excellence, and the most courageous of people. One night, they heard a shout while they were in Medina, and they were alarmed, fearing it might be an enemy. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) met them on a bare horse belonging to Abu Talhah, returning from the sound, saying to them:Sahih al-Bukhari 6033. This indicates the perfection of his courage (peace and blessings be upon him) and the perfection of his love for self-sacrifice; otherwise, he would have remained silent in his house. The Companions had goodness in them, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most eager of people to rush toward good. May Allah send prayers and peace upon him.
A man came to al-Bara' and said: "Did you turn your backs on the day of Hunayn, O Abu 'Umarah?" He said: "I bear witness to the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he did not turn his back, but he went out with the lightest of the people, and the bare-armed ones, to this tribe of Hawazin, and they were a people of archers, so they shot at them with a volley of arrows as if they were a leg of locusts, so they broke through. Then the people came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith was leading his mule, so he dismounted and called out and sought help, saying: 'I am the Prophet, I do not lie, I am the son of Abd al-Muttalib. O Allah, send down Your victory.' Al-Bara' said: 'By Allah, when the battle grew intense, we would take refuge in him, and the most courageous of us is the one who stands beside him,' meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The Shaykh : May Allah send prayers and peace upon him.
