A study on the story of Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: Regarding the story of Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr:
"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Regarding Aisha's statement in Sahih Muslim: 'As for me, what he did to Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr prevents me from telling you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)' to the end of the hadith:
Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr was her brother from Asma bint Umayyas. He was born during the Farewell Pilgrimage. Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) had appointed him governor of Egypt. Then he was among those who marched to besiege Uthman and did what he did, as mentioned in the books of biographies. Then he joined Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and became one of his commanders. Ali sent him to Egypt, where he met As'akir, the commander of Mu'awiyah. The group of Muhammad was defeated, so Muhammad hid in the house of an Egyptian woman, and she revealed him. He said: 'Protect me in the name of any Bakr.' Mu'awiyah ibn Khudayj said: 'You killed eighty of my people in the blood of the martyr Uthman, and I should leave you, who is his companion?' He was brought to 'Amr ibn al-'As, who killed him for Uthman. It is also said that Mu'awiyah ibn Khudayj killed him, stuffed him into the belly of a dead donkey, and burned it."

The Shaykh : But what is the relevance of mentioning this?
The reader: ... because 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) ... is the one Aisha intended.
