The Shaykh : Correct. If looking is forbidden, then if exposing it were not forbidden, looking would not be forbidden. This is the point of the evidence: if exposing it were not forbidden, looking would not be forbidden. For this reason, it is permissible, for example, for a person to look at another person's face, chest, and shoulder, because exposing them is permissible.
