The ruling on one who is negligent in purifying himself from the two states of ritual impurity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message from one of the listening brothers says: Is the ruling on one who is negligent in his purification from major ritual impurity, or minor ritual impurity, the same as the ruling on one who abandons prayer, meaning: is he a disbeliever? And does that affect the marriage contract, even though he is careful to perform the prayers at their times, and in congregation?

Answer:
It is obligatory for the believer to fear Allah in his purification, and to perform the ablution as Allah has commanded him, and to perform the full ritual bath as Allah has commanded him. I do not think a Muslim would intentionally neglect his full ritual bath or his ablution while he is aware of it. If he does intentionally neglect it, and does not wash all of his body from major ritual impurity, or does not wash all the limbs in the ablution, then his prayer is invalid, and his ruling is the ruling of one who does not pray, if he does it intentionally. As for if it happens that a defect occurs in it that he did not notice, that does not harm him, and his ruling is not the ruling of one who abandoned prayer. But he is guided, taught, and directed so that he takes precaution in his full ritual bath and his ablution, and so that he pays attention to what may happen to him.
The point is: It is obligatory for the believing man and the believing woman to take care of the full ritual bath, and to take care of the ablution, and that they perform the full ritual bath as Allah has commanded them, and that they perform the ablution as Allah has commanded them. As for one who intentionally plays with the full ritual bath and the ablution, his ruling is the ruling of one who abandoned prayer, we seek refuge in Allah. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
