Do not take to the estate, such that you become desirous of the world. لا تتخذوا الضَيعة فترغبوا في الدنيا

, Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: It is a good hadith.
And from Ka'b ibn 'Iyad (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
Indeed there is a fitnah for every Ummah, and the Fitnah for my Ummah is wealth. إنَّ لكل أمة فتنة، وفتنة أمتي المال

And from Abu 'Amr, or it is said: Abu 'Abdullah, or it is said: Abu Layla, 'Uthman ibn 'Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
There is no right for the son of Adam in other than these things: A house which he lives in, a garment which covers his nakedness, and Jilf (a piece of bread) and water. ليس لابن آدم حق في سوى هذه الخِصال: بيتٌ يسكنه، وثوب يواري عورته، وجلف الخبز، والماء

And from 'Abdullah ibn al-Shikhkhir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: أتيتُ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يقرأ: ألهاكم التكاثر ، قال: يقول ابن آدم: مالي، مالي، وهل لك يا ابن آدم من مالك إلا ما أكلت فأفنيت، أو لبست فأبليت، أو تصدقت فأمضيت I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was reciting: (Competition in increase has distracted you). He said: The son of Adam says: My wealth, my wealth. And what do you have, O son of Adam, of your wealth except what you ate and consumed, or what you wore and wore out, or what you gave in charity and remained, Muslim narrated it"
