The Reciter: He said (may Allah have mercy on him): “Chapter on Keeping Secrets:
Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Isra 17:34].
As for the hadiths: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Riyad as-Salihin 684 Narrated by Muslim “ .
The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful:
Al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his book *Riyad al-Salihin*: “Chapter on Keeping Secrets”: A secret is that which occurs in confidence between you and your companion, and it is not permissible for you to disclose this secret, or to make it clear to anyone, whether he said to you: “Do not make it clear to anyone,” or it is known by a practical indication that he does not like anyone to know about it, or it is known by a contextual indication that he does not like anyone to know about it.
An example of the first, the verbal: that he tells you a story and then says, “Do not tell anyone; it is a trust with you, do not let anyone know it.”
And an example of the second: that he tells you a story, and while he is telling it to you, he looks around, fearing that someone might hear, because the meaning of his looking around is that he does not like anyone to know about it.
And an example of the third: the contextual indication: that what he informed you of or told you about is among the matters that one is shy to mention or fears to mention, or something similar to that, so it is not permissible for you to clarify and reveal this secret. Then the author (may Allah have mercy on him) cited as evidence for this the saying of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Isra 17:34]: meaning, if you make a covenant with something by the language of the situation or by the language of speech, then it is obligatory upon you to fulfill the covenant. Among the covenants are the conditions that occur between people in buying and selling, leasing and hiring, pledging, and other things, for these conditions are part of the covenant. Likewise, what occurs between Muslims and disbelievers in the form of a covenant, it is obligatory upon Muslims to fulfill it. The covenants made with disbelievers, Allah clarified in Surat al-Tawbah that they are divided into three categories:
A category that continues to fulfill the covenant, so it is obligatory for us to fulfill their covenant.
And a second category that broke the covenant, so there is no covenant between us and them because they broke the covenant. Allah the Exalted said:[At-Tawbah 9:13].
And a third category: they did not break the covenant, and it has not become clear to us that they will continue to fulfill it, rather we fear from them that they will betray and break the covenant. So Allah said about them:[Al-Anfal 8:58]: meaning, say to them that there is no covenant between us and you, until the matter is explicit. So the important point is that all that is stipulated between people is part of the covenants.
Among that is the commitment of employees to perform their work, for the employee has committed to the conditions that the government stipulates for employees, such as attending work, not leaving except after the end of the workday, giving advice in the work, and what is similar to that which is known in the service department. So it is obligatory to fulfill these covenants, otherwise leave the job and be free in what you do, because the job did not oblige you to it, but you are the one who came and got employed, so you must commit to what the conditions of this job require in every respect, otherwise leave it and be free in what you want, and no one will hold you accountable except Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
Allah the Exalted said:
And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.
وأوفوا بالعهد إن العهد كان مسؤولًاAs for the hadiths: Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The most evil of the people to Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be the man who consorts with his wife and then publicizes her secret.

Would you not fight a people who broke their oaths and determined to expel the Messenger, and they had begun [the attack upon] you the first time?
ألا تقاتلون قوما نكثوا أيمانهم وهمّوا بإخراج الرّسول وهم بدؤوكم أوّل مرّةAnd a third category: they did not break the covenant, and it has not become clear to us that they will continue to fulfill it, rather we fear from them that they will betray and break the covenant. So Allah said about them:
If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms
