What is the authenticity of the saying "Hate your enemy mildly..."?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some of the Salaf said: "Hate your enemy mildly, for he may become your beloved one day," in *Kanz al-‘Umal*?

Answer:
This is narrated from 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Love your beloved gently, for he may one day become your enemy, and hate your enemy gently, for he may one day become your beloved."
That is to say: do not be extreme, but this is not an absolute rule. We hate the disbelievers completely, and we love the believers completely. This is the opinion of some people, narrated from 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
