What is the meaning of love for the sake of Allah and hatred for the sake of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He asks: What is the meaning of love for the sake of Allah and hatred for the sake of Allah?

Answer:
Answer: It means that you love a person; you do not love him except for the sake of Allah. You do not love him because he gives you money, or because he benefits you with worldly material things. Rather, you love him because he is a righteous man. And hatred for the sake of Allah: you do not hate him because he did not give you anything, but you hate him because he is an enemy of Allah and because he opposes obedience to Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). You hate him for that reason, not because he did not give you anything, or because there are grudges between you and him, or the like of that.
