The ruling on one who returns gifts without an apparent reason

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
One of the brothers is given many gifts and returns them. He is not in a position of authority, and he has no reason to return the gift?

Answer:
The Sunnah is to accept the gift and to give a reward in return for it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Give gifts to one another, and you will love one anotherتهادوا تحابّوا
, and he used to accept gifts and give rewards for them, and he did not return them except for a cause.
Q: And his saying: "Do not give me gifts, for you would burden me beyond my capacity"?
A: If he gives him wealth and he returns it to him, there is no harm, if he wants compensation for his gift.
Q: No, he does not want compensation, but he returns them often, to the point that his brother’s chest became narrow?
A: It is possible that he suspects him of wanting compensation.
Q: He never suspects him.
A: The Sunnah is to accept the gift unless there is a cause.
Q: If one takes a gift and then gives it away as a gift, is there anything wrong with that?
A: There is no harm, for it is his property, and he may dispose of it as he wishes.
