Is the reward of a sincere intention the same as the full reward of the deed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does he receive the reward of the intention, or the full reward of the deed?

Answer:
Their reward is based on their intention, the intention of jihad; they are given the same as the mujahideen.
Q: Some scholars made a distinction, saying: If he used to perform this deed before the excuse or before the illness and he intended it, he is written the full reward; but if he did not use to perform it previously and he intended it, he is written the reward of the intention?
The Shaykh: The apparent meaning of the authentic hadith is that he is written the reward of the mujahideen. It said:
They share with you in the rewardشركوكم في الأجر
, they were with you
An excuse prevented themحبسهم العذر
.
Q: And they mentioned the example of prayer, if he used to perform voluntary prayers?
The Shaykh: He has the reward of it. If he left it because of travel or illness, he has the reward of it. If a servant falls ill or travels, Allah writes for him what he used to do while he was healthy and resident. Al-Bukhari narrated it in the Sahih; it is from the favor and mercy of Allah.
Q: And if he does not do this thing, but he intends that if he were healthy he would go to pray or perform voluntary prayers or such?
The Shaykh: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
What he used to doما كان يعمل
, what had become established for him. As for the new, he has his future, but it is hoped for him if he is determined to do a deed and an excuse prevents him, that he is given the reward.
