Ruling on avoiding the lowering of garments solely for prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some of the brothers, when they come to the mosque, raise their pants on the basis that they are letting them hang below the ankles. Is he correct in doing so only during prayer?

Answer:
It is obligatory for him to raise it constantly, not just during prayer. It is obligatory for him to constantly observe his pants and other garments, and raise them. Even if they tell him: "Let it hang down," he does not obey them. Obedience is in what is right, not in sins.
Q: What if the garment reaches the middle of the calf and has become a distinguishing mark among people?
A: He should let it hang down to the ankle so that it does not become a distinguishing mark among people, so that he does not cause harm and create problems. There is nothing wrong with this; because it is permissible to the middle of the calf. At most, it is a recommended practice. But leaving a recommended practice when there is a benefit in it is not a problem.
Q: What is reported: "What is below the knee by four fingers"?
A: This came in some hadiths, but there is a consideration regarding its authenticity. And if it did come, it is understood in this sense, meaning: four fingers around the middle of the calf. So the matter is close.
