If a girl is breastfed by a woman, all of her children become forbidden to her
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: I inform you that I was breastfed by a woman along with a boy, and she has an older son than him. They tell me: It is not permissible for you to greet the older son, but it is permissible for you to greet the younger one?
Answer: It is permissible for you to greet all the children of the wet nurse, whether they were born before you or after you; because they are all considered your brothers through breastfeeding; because the wet nurse is considered your mother through breastfeeding, and all of her children are considered your brothers through breastfeeding—both the young and the old—if the breastfeeding was five times or more within the two-year period. May Allah guide everyone to what pleases Him.
