It is obligatory for the people to cooperate with the state and the courts in combating all narcotics; through advice, Islamic guidance, and warning in word and deed. Each person should start with himself; he must combat them in word and deed with sincerity and devotion, and he should advise his brothers in this, explaining to them their great harms and bad consequences; acting in accordance with the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) : [Al-Ma'idah: 2] and His saying (peace and blessings be upon him) : Indeed, man is in loss, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds and enjoin one another to truth and enjoin one another to patience [Al-'Asr: 1-3].
