Is it obligatory for me to disclose my sins after repenting?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
My work led me to commit errors and sins with women, short of zina, and I lied out of fear of exposure. Is it obligatory for me to disclose the truth after my repentance?

Answer:
Repentance is sufficient; a person should conceal himself with Allah’s concealment, along with repentance and not disclosing the sins and bad deeds he committed, and whoever repents, Allah accepts his repentance.
It is obligatory for you to repent to Allah, to be cautious of the causes of evil, to be cautious of the means to zina, and to be cautious of everything Allah has forbidden. If a servant is afflicted with any of the sins, let him repent to Allah, let him seek Allah’s forgiveness, and let him not reveal his record, let him not spread his ugliness, and let him not expose himself.
