If the windpipe and esophagus are cut, the slaughtered animal is lawful

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Among us in Sudan, they stipulate in slaughter that the cut must be behind the knob—which is the protrusion in the windpipe of the slaughtered animal. If someone slaughters a beast and separates this knob from the head, people do not eat its meat. How valid is this statement?

Answer: If the windpipe and esophagus are cut, even if the knob is separated, there is no harm, and its slaughter is valid. If the four are cut—the windpipe, the esophagus, and the two jugular veins—that is more complete and better.
